Custom Pop Art Instructions

Want a Custom Pop Art print? Follow the steps below!

1. TAKE LOTS OF PICS!

   With your smart phone, take photos of your pop art subject.

   Example:	Clothing: Make sure the subject is not wearing black or very dark clothing, especially if you would like for us to change the color of the outfit (we cannot change black clothing to another color if you need a wardrobe color change) dark colors can also tend to appear as black in the final piece).
   Example:	Background: Make sure the background behind the subject is a light, solid color and is bare (nothing on the wall/background). If the background is dark, the background may be black in your Custom Pop Art print.
   Example:	Light Source: Photos come out best when a flash is used or subject is in a well-lit area. But be careful not to overexpose the subject in the photo.
   Example: Different angles/directions: Make sure you have various photos of the subject that we can select from. Play around with the shots. Shoot from different angles, directions. Have your subject smile in some shots and not smile in others. You'll be surprised what shots you come up with when you get creative!

2. UPLOAD YOUR PICS AND ADD COLOR SPECIFICATIONS!

   Upload your top three photos by clicking Upload File on the Custom Pop Art page. You can also upload a photo (optional) of the space you would like your photo to be in so we can complement your space with the right colors. If you have any color specifications when it comes to the background color and wardrobe, now’s the time to let us know. After adding all your photos by clicking Upload File, click Add to Cart. This will take you to the Shopping Cart page where you will be able to add special instructions for us, including color specifications and background color. 

    

3. CHECK OUT!

   Check Out of the Shopping Cart. Remember, once you Check Out, only partial payment can be returned if you decide to stop production before the Custom Pop Art print is approved/printed, so make sure you really want a Custom Pop Art print before selecting Check Out! If you decide to stop production before step 5, the transaction fee, plus $150 dollars will be subtracted from your amount paid when you receive your partial payment refund. If you decide to stop production during step 5, the transaction fee plus $150 dollars at minimum will be subtracted from your amount paid when you receive your partial payment refund.

   If you have approved your Customer Pop Art print (step 6), you cannot receive a refund for the Custom Pop Art print.

    

4. RECEIVE EMAIL CONFIRMATIONS

   You will receive two email confirmations. (1) The first will be an order confirmation for your purchased. (2) The second email will be sent within a few days once we select the photo that will be used for the pop art.

   *Please be aware, you may be asked to send a few more photos if we cannot use any of the photos you’ve sent. If we cannot use the photo, your email will include further instructions on what is needed for us to create your Custom Pop Art print. We have the right to deny creating a Custom Pop Art print for you. If we deny creating your Custom Pop Art print, you will receive a full refund.

    

5. WAIT, IT TAKES 2-3 WEEKS!

   It takes 2-3 weeks for us to create your Custom Pop Art print. Once complete, you will receive a watermarked version of your Custom Pop Art print ("Proof") to approve. You are allowed one round of revisions, if necessary. One round of revisions shall be defined as a single communication from you following receipt of the Proof that specifies changes to background/clothing color and minor edits to the Custom Pop Art print. Remember, this is Pop ART and not an exact duplicate of your personal photo. We have a right to alter your photo if we deem it artistically necessary. Charges will be applicable for revisions following the initial first round.

    

6. APPROVE YOUR PRINT!

   Once you love your Custom Pop Art print, it’s time to print! Before we can move forward with printing your Custom Pop Art print, you must confirm/approve via email. Approving the print means you approve the image and have no further revisions. Since Custom Pop Art prints are meant just for you, these prints cannot be returned unless it’s damaged or defective upon receipt. If this occurs, we will send a replacement print.

    

7. RECEIVE YOUR CUSTOM POP ART PRINT/PRINTS

   Depending on your location, you will receive your Custom Pop Art print within 1-2 weeks after approval.
